The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, completes glorious 26 years in the world of cinema and glamour and his fans can’t keep calm about it. The superstar debuted on June 25 with Deewana movie and rose to fame for his onscreen charm and dedication towards his work. Since then he has just become a bigger and bigger name. From young guns of Bollywood to veteran actors, everyone is a big fan of Badshah Khan. And after Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaenge, there is hardly anyone who is not affected by his charm. 

SRK, who, last year didn’t even realise it was his career anniversary, shared a rather emotional post this year. He tweeted, “Tomorrow will be exactly half a lifetime of being ‘others’. Expressing love,happiness, sadness,dancing,falling & flying. Hope I hav touched small bits of ur hearts & hope I can do so for the whole lifetime… ’रोशनी मेरी बहुत दूर तक जायेगी, पर शर्त यह है, की सलीखे से जलाओ मुझको [sic]” How beautiful!

On completion of Shah Rukh Khan’s 26 years in the industry, fans bombard the Twitter with their heartfelt wishes and love for the actor. While one user called his journey as ’26 years of spreading love’, another Twitter user recalled actress Divya Bharti's lines for SRK when she said, ‘You're not just an actor, you're an institution.’

Shah Rukh Khan made his debut alongside Rishi Kapoor and late actress Divya Bharti. In spite of sharing screen space with two great actors, SRK managed to make his way through his hard work into people’s hearts. 

After blowing away minds with various roles and characters, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next release Zero, in which he will be seen donning the role of a dwarf. Directed by Aanand L. Rai, the movie will hit the theatres on December 21.
