New Delhi: As the world revels in the arrival of the New Year today, it is double the reason to celebrate for Bollywood actress Vidya Balan whose birthday falls on January 1.
Yes, the diva has turned 37 today.
Vidya was reportedly planning to ring in the celebrations with hubby Siddharth Roy Kapur at a foreign location.
However, she had to cancel her plans at the last moment due to ill-health.
The ‘Kahani' actress was rushed to a Mumbai hospital where she was diagnosed with kidney stones.
Just a few days back, when Vidya was quizzed about being so comfortable with sharing her age, the actress stated, “Age is just a number really, and we should not give it any more importance than that”.
The ‘No One Killed Jessica' actress is currently hospitalised and is reportedly recovering well and might be discharged today.
Vidya will soon be seen on the silver screen in her upcoming movie TE3N, also starring Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
