New Delhi: Varun Dhawan has given some really promising performances since his debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar's ‘Student of the Year'.
The actor won accolades for his work in ‘Badlapur' and ‘ABCD 2'.
Varun was last seen in Rohit Shetty's ‘Dilwale' which was one of the most talked about movies in 2015.
In fact, much hype was created before ‘Dilwale' was released and it t was quite obvious as the movie brought back the magical jodi of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan.
Although the movie minted crores at the box office, but the audience was severely disappointed by the movie and it seems that now even the cast of ‘Dilwale' is regretting to be a part of it.
If the gossip mills are to be believed, Varun Dhawan, who was thrilled to be a part of a SRK-Kajol starrer, is disappointed with the movie.
According to the media reports, Varun is unhappy with the way his character was shown in the film. The actor feels he was merely‘padding' to the central plot that revolved around Shah Rukh and Kajol.
Earlier Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan too have shown their disappointment over ‘Dilwale'.
While Kajol, reportedly, thought it would have been better if she would have given nod to Sujoy Ghosh's ‘Durga Rani Singh', SRK was reported stating, “I don't think the film has done as well as it should have. I am personally disappointed with that”.
Currently, Varun is busy with his forthcoming movie ‘Dishoom' also starring John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez, which is helmed by Varun's brother Rohit Dhawan.
