Taking competition to another level, 'Bala', starring Ayushmann Khurrana, was announced to be released on November 7 -- a week before 'Ujda Chaman' was to hit the theatres (on November 15).
For the unversed, 'Ujda Chaman' -- featuring Sunny Singh in the lead -- revolves around the same issue as 'Bala' - premature balding.
'Ujda Chaman's makers then approached a Mumbai court to let the movie get released earlier. The movie was then advanced to November 7 -- the same day when 'Bala' releases.
It has now been advanced to November 1 -- a week before 'Bala'.
The development was announced through a new poster shared by the lead actor. Taking to Instagram Sunny wrote, “Isse pehle ki mein poora Takla hojaon, miliye mujse 1st November ko. Ujda Chaman, now releases on 1ST NOVEMBER in your nearest cinemas.”
'Ujda Chaman' also stars Maanvi Gagroo, Karishma Sharma and Aishwarya Sakhuja in the lead roles. The film has been directed by Abhishek Pathak.
'Bala' features Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam, apart from Khurrana. The black comedy is directed by Amar Kaushik.
