New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Tamasha' has earned Rs 24 crores within two days of its release.
Helmed by Imtiaz Ali, Tamasha, which was released on November 27, had a decent opening of Rs 10 crores on the working Friday.
Taran Adarsh, Box Office trade analyst, posted the data on his twitter account, as he tweeted, “#Tamasha stays strong at plexes/metros. Witnesses 21% growth. Fri 10.87 cr, Sat 13.17 cr. Total: ₹ 24.04 cr. India biz.”

He also gave insight of Tamasha's worldwide business in another tweet, “#Tamasha - Overseas - Till Fri: $ 1.64 million [₹ 10.96 cr]... Key markets: USA-Canada $ 727k, UAE-GCC $ 565k, Pakistan $ 150k, UK $ 116k”.

Tamasha revolves around Ved (Ranbir Kapoor) and Tara (Deepika Padukone), who meet in Corsica, an exotic island in France, and fall in love with each other after a holiday fling. The movie is filled with various clichéd sequences, but Ranbir and Deepika's mind-blowing chemistry has pulled it off well.
The good box office earnings has brought a sigh of relief for Ranbir Kapoor, who despertaley needed a hit after three duds Besharam, Roy and Bombay Velvet.
