'Talk to your boss': Actor Govinda tells Mumbai police inspector at Ganesh idol immersion

Mumbai: Bollywood actor and former Congress MP Govinda was supposed to take part in the shooting for  Yash Raj production film Kill Dil on Tuesday evening at Marve Beach, but police stopped the film crew

Govinda called up Mumbai police commissioner Dr Satyapal Singh, and then handed over the phone to the inspector saying 'Apne boss se baat karo'.  The police commissioner told the inspector to act as per rules.

"Govinda rang up so many people, but we asked him to vacate the place immediately, if he did not have any permission", said Senior Inspector from Malwani, Abdul Rauf Sheikh.

And this is what Govinda said to clarify the issue: "I was supposed to reach the venue in the morning, but I could not because we had Ganapati pooja at home. Thoda sa misunderstanding ho gaya, time ke maamle mein. I couldn't possibly leave home in the morning. I went later and by then visarjan had started. We had to move to another location, but we did finish the day's shoot. There were no issues".
