Stars at 'Kai Po Che' success bash (watch pics)

Mumbai, March 4: With Kai Po Che rowding the box-office with its superb collection, the team got the reason to throw a bash and there we got the cast along with its Director celebrating the success of their big release in Bollywood at Sancho`s Restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai.Farhan Akthar, Tusshar Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Amit Sadh, Raj Kumar Yadav, Abhishek Kapoor, all joined the bash.Kai Po Che, which had massive promotions, opened to a superb response at the multiplexes across the country when compared to single screens. The Abhishek Kapoor directed-movie showed a huge growth on Saturday and Sunday. It collected approximately Rs 18.10 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend. Its breakup is Rs 4.50 cr on Fri, Rs 6.25 cr on Sat and Rs 7.35 cr on Sun.Actor Amit Sadh, who is revelling in the success of his latest release "Kai Po Che", said that he is proud of his experience on the small screen."I am very grateful to television. When I came here 10 years ago, I didn't have money even for food. Then Neena Gupta offered me 'Kyun Hota Hai Pyaar'. I am very grateful to them, they gave me work. I learnt acting while working for TV. I am very proud of my TV experience," Amit said here Thursday at the success party of the film.Amit has done another TV show "Durgesh Nandini" and was also on the first season of "Bigg Boss".Sushant, who played one of the lead actors in "Kai Po Che", also started his career on the small screen with the hit daily soap "Pavitra Rishta."Director Abhishek Kapoor is not at all exhausted after putting in four years to make "Kai Po Che". He is itching to get back to the sets as soon as possible."I have ants in my pants, as you call it, to get back to a set and start a film as soon as I can. But it can only happen once a story is in hand," Kapoor said here Thursday at the success party of the film."Kai Po Che" features Sushant Singh Rajput, Raj Kumar Yadav, Amit Sadh and Amrita Puri. It has received a positive response since its release Feb 22.
