The Salman Khan starrer Dabangg created a lot of buzz at the Monday night private screening. And not all of it was for the right reasons, reports Mumbai Mirror.
The special screening, which had been organised by Salman, saw an entire gamut of stars at the Bandra preview theatre. But none of them had expected to see an actor there who happens to be one of Sallu's archrivals.
Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan landed up at Salman's Dabangg screening, albeit just for a few seconds. Though Shah Rukh did not watch the film, he was spotted in the vicinity, passing by in his car with wife Gauri, just outside the preview theatre.
An eyewitness reveals, “The show got over at around 2 am on Monday night. All the stars were getting out and the photographers were standing right outside to click their pictures. It was then that one photographer spotted Shah Rukh in his BMW convertible with wife Gauri.
Shah Rukh actually slowed down his car and moments later, photographers turned to him and shouted out his name. Before they could capture any images of the actor, he zoomed away.”
Though, King Khan may be returning home with his wife that night, it seems like too much of a coincidence that a special screening of Salman's much-hyped Dabangg, was being held at the exact same time at a preview theatre, which also happened to be on the way.
Naturally, it took people no time to spot Shah Rukh on the road. Was the actor just passing by or did he deliberately land up at the screening for a few seconds, just to divert attention away from Salman's screening?
Special guests who landed up for the private screening included Aamir Khan, his wife Kiran Rao son Junaid, Salman's family members, Karisma Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, her husband Raj Kundra, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani and many others. But the presence of Khan still remains a mystery..
