Sooryavanshi Box Office Collection Day 5: Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif starrer enters ₹100 crore club on Tuesday

Rohit Shetty directorial 'Sooryavanshi' has swept everyone off their feet with not just its power-packed action sequences but also the box office numbers. After four days of its release, the film managed to rake in Rs 91.59 crore in India. With numbers increasing at a fast pace, not just fans but even makers are excited to know when the film will enter the Rs 100 crore club. Well now, it seems that the day is finally here. According to Taran Adarsh, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif starrer has performed well on Tuesday and has managed to make a smashing entry into the 100 crore club. Not only this but despite a drop of around 15 to 20% as compared to its collections on Monday, the film earned Rs 11.22 crore in India.

Taking to Twitter, the trade analyst shared the box office report of the film and wrote, "#Sooryavanshi is NOT OUT… Continues to attract substantial footfalls even on weekdays, especially in #Maharashtra and #Gujarat… Eyes ₹ 120 cr [+/-] total in *Week 1*… Fri 26.29 cr, Sat 23.85 cr, Sun 26.94 cr, Mon 14.51 cr, Tue 11.22 cr. Speaking about the film, it also stars Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn in crucial roles. The cop drama was originally slated to release on March 24 last year but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the shutting down of cinema halls. 'Sooryavanshi' is a continuation of the cop action 'Singham' universe, which began with the Ajay Devgn starrer 'Singam' and 'Singham Returns', then expanded with 'Simmba', starring Ranveer Singh and Devgn, and now is going forward with Akshay Kumar's character.
