Cannes 2015: Sonam Kapoor's electric appearance in a dramatic blue gown (see pics)
New Delhi: Sonam Kapoor made her first appearance at the Cannes red carpet this year, and it was thoroughly awe-striking.
The ultimate fashionista wore an electric blue Ralph and Russo outfit with highly dramatic details over it. One-sided bouncy soft curls, sparkly red lip shade, Chopard earrings and Gisuppe Zanotti shoes consummated her look further.
What stood out terrifically in this look was her utter confidence. While Sonam Kapoor definitely stands as an Indian answer to all the fashionistas walking the red carpet at Cannes 2015, her sheer confidence makes for an evident fashion statement.
The Bollywood actress who is the style Goddess of myriads in India leaves no stone unturned while flaunting her divasque persona at international events too.
As she dressed up to address the press junkets at the Cannes International Film festival earlier, Sonam picked an Abu Jani Sandepe Khosla saree.
And as beautifully risque as the saree seemed, we couldn't think better than Sonam Kapoor to be flaunting that modified version of a six-yard drape.
It should be noted that the actress has been flaunting Indian ensemble with much elan at the Cannes. Last year too, it was a cape saree with sheer modifications by Anamika Khanna that held on the glances of many.
And if one could recollect that highly acclaimed style piece of jewellery - nose ring, one would get an image of Sonam wearing a saree with a long embellished jacket at the red carpet of Cannes 2013.
