Mumbai: Imran Khan has been busy working out hard in the gym for his role in the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.
According to reports, the Jaaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actor will be gaining weight to make sure he looks physically compatible opposite Sonakshi Sinha.
“I am getting into bodybuilding, so that I can be seen in the frame with Sonakshi,” the actor was overheard telling a friend by the tabloid.
The film's shooting will kickstart in August.
The earlier version had Ajay Devgan play the pivotal Mumbai gangster role – Dawood and in the sequel the role is taken by Akki. In the sequel Emraan Hashmi's role will be played by Imran Khan.
While Akshay will play Shoib (modeled on Dawood Ibrahim), Sonakshi will play his love interest Yasmi (modeled on Mandakini), while Imran Khan will play the role of Aslam.
Hope Imran Khan is successful in matching Sonakshi's screen presence.
