In India, it's rare that the any flick on its day one has opened to packed houses in morning shows. In Spice cinemas, Big cinemas and Wave cinemas in Noida, fans were spotted making serpentine queues at ticket windows for Singham Returns, which has opened to 4,020 screens worldwide, but they came back disappointed.
The advanced booking and the Independence Day holiday are expected as the main reasons for such massive rush. Till noon today, the shows are housefull while for evening and night shows, the advance booking is already in full swing.
“SinghamReturns has a HISTORIC start in the morning shows. Trade jubilant. Expecting a big, fat total on Day 1”, confirms Adarsh.
Looking at the trends, the flick is expected to mint over Rs 30 cr on Day 1.
On the other hand, Salman Khan's Kick has successfully completed its three weeks run at box office summing up the total to over Rs 229 cr nett in India.
Last week's release Entertainment within seven days of its release has collected brilliant Rs 56.50 cr nett in India.
