New Delhi: Ace designer and politician Shaina NC and designer Manish Malhotra may have held a fashion show supporting the aid for Cancer Patients Aid Association. But it seems the entire effort has been in vein as the show, which was held at National Sports Club in Mumbai has landed in trouble.
As reported by Times Now, the show organised at NSCI, Mumbai created much noise causing inconvenience to club members. It was followed by a brawl between police and some common people. Even media personals were also refrained from capturing the shots. Few shots from the report confirm the incident.
Following the unfortunate incident, designer Shaina NC has apologized for the entire inconvenience caused to people through Twitter. She tweeted, “To the inconvenienced NSCI members my sincere apologies. We wanted ALL members to be part of the show. Onus is on me.”
Even Maharashtra CM - Devendra Fadnavis is not behind. In a series of tweets, he has expressed his apology for the entire incident, he has tweeted, “My sincere apologies to those who were stopped by police unnecessarily. People in the state have always seen me stopping at traffic signals.” Fadnavis has also stated that he apparently had conveyed police not to stop traffic for his convoy.
As the incident has spread like forest fire, Twitteratti has flooded the social networking website with their thoughts over the incident.
The show was attended by top-notch celebrities and industrialists including Aamir Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.
