New Delhi: One of the highly anticipated flicks of the year ‘Fan' that sacrificed its release date for ‘Brothers' is now scheduled to release on Eid and it's not the date, which Salman Khan has already locked for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.
Yes, if you thought that you are going to witness the clash of the titans, it's not going to happen that soon. While Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer will hit the screens in July which will have Eid-Ul-Fitr, Shah Rukh Khan's starrer is being planned for September 23 release, which will be a Bakra Eid holiday, according to a leading website DNA.
Yet, there is no official confirmation and also the movie may be postponed to next year. The initial story surrounded has that Fan, which was scheduled to release on August 14, gave its date to Karan Johar's production ‘Brothers' directed by Karan Malhotra citing the reason that the movie will be using never-seen-before VFX and that will take some more time to materialize.
While all other big holiday dates like Gandhi Jayanti, Diwali and Christmas are already booked, the makers of Fan couldn't find any better date than September 23, which is a Wednesday thereby benefiting the flick with five-days extended weekend at box office. Until that day too if the flick faces any hurdles it will be shifted to early next year, which king Khan itself won't support.
Baadshah Khan will be seen in a twin role- one as a common man and the other as a superstar in the flick, the presentation of which will be entirely different from flicks having similar concepts and so more attention is being given to VFX.
Well, we wish it does get wrapped up within the said time as this is the solo release of Shah Rukh Khan and he wouldn't want to disappoint his fans by being absent from screens this entire year.
