New Delhi: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's birthday is no less than a festival for his ardent fans. Yesterday, when King Khan turned 50, fans turned the day into a gala affair.
While best wishes and love poured in from dawn to dusk, the fans kept gathering all day long outside his residence ‘Mannat' to give their birthday wishes.

But, amid this wave of happiness, there was something that made Shah Rukh Khan cry. No! We are not joking, it's true.
SRK cried on his birthday but it was out of sheer happiness and joy.
Seemingly, King Khan was so overwhelmed with the unconditional love and special attention given to his birthday that he felt the need to cry with happiness.

Shah Rukh shared his emotions on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
“How sweet r all ur msgs. Will reply to each & every1 as the days ends. For now I feel the need to cry with happiness,” he tweeted.

Earlier in the day, Shah Rukh Khan also expressed that he needs to find new reasons to smile, as he tweeted “It's been a few hrs & I hav received such unconditional lov & wishes for my smile, I think it's time I find new reasons 2 smile from today.”
We wish he has more such happy tears in the years to come!
