Our television serials are evolving and showing things that have become reality in our social circle. From marital rapes to surrogacy, Indian TV shows are associating these things with the story plot to keep their audiences glued to TV screens.
‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' is just about to witness the most unique twist in the plot. Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) will reportedly be the surrogate mother for Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman's (Karan Patel) baby.
As the show is currently showing Shagun as a changed woman, she will help the lead couple, willingly.
Given the equation between Raman-Ishita and Shagun this would be an interesting twist. It would be worth anticipating, if Shagun's change of heart is just a lie and that she has some evil notions to disrupt the happy life of Ishita and Raman.
Since it is a very sensitive issue, the makers are going about very cautiously in portraying this twist to avoid creating controversies.
In other news about the show, actor Eijaz Khan joining the cast is false. A source while talking to a leading newspaper, revealed, "Eijaz is busy shooting for his upcoming movie Zainab in the City. He also has a couple of TV ventures lined up, including Dafa 420. Though he knows the team of Yeh Hai Mohobattein well, he has not been approached for any role. Moreover, considering his tight schedule, he is not too keen on taking up any new show,"
For the fans of the show this is disheartening news. But the new twist about Shagun being the surrogate mother just will be a break from the cliché twists of the programme.
