Mumbai: Sphereorigins Mutivision Pvt Ltd have taken over the production rights of TV show "Saraswatichandra" from Sanjay Leela Bhansali Films Pvt Ltd.
Sphereorigins Mutivision, know for making popular shows like "Balika Vadhu", "Saat Phere", and "Jyoti", started shooting "Saraswatichandra" under their banner Aug 23.
"We appreciate the trust the channel has shown towards us and chose us to produce popular show 'Saraswatichandra'. It is an interesting storyline and it already has a strong fan following," said Sunjoy Waddhwa, chairman and managing director, Sphereorigins Mutivision Pvt Ltd, in a statement.
"Sphereorigins excels in its quality and smooth functioning which will reflect in the production of the show. We will work towards meeting and exceeding the expectations of the audience," he added.
The first episode of "Saraswatichandra" which will commence under the name of Sphereorigins will be aired Tuesday.
There has been no confirmation from Bhansali yet.
The show airs on Star Plus.
Meanwhile, the production is also bringing "Iss Pyaar Ko kya Naam Doon...Ek Baar Phir", which is second season of "Iss Pyaar Ko kya Naam Doon". It will go on air Monday.
