Mumbai, May 17: It was a long and tedious process inside the Mumbai Tada court today for Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, who had to wait for nearly 5 hours inside, waiting for the formalities to be completed before being taken to Arthur Road central jail.
Dutt had arrived in court at 2:35 pm, and was still waiting for orders till 7:45 pm inside the court. Dutt was accompanied by wife Maanyata, sisters Priya and Namrata and seven of his close friends.
Dutt's entire family waited inside the court for the formalities to be over. Meanwhile, Tada court judge G. A. Sanap went out for a meeting lasting one and a half hours till 6:30 pm. Dutt and the other convicts were awaiting for their jail transfer orders, which have been dictated by the judge, and the signed copies were handed over to jail authorities late in the evening.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt went out of the courtroom twice to the loo, and he also had tea .
Dutt will first be taken to Arthur Road central jail, where his medical examination will be done and identification process will be completed. Only afterwards, the jail authorities will decide where to send him.
