Pune: Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has reportedly refused to eat any food in jail for the last two days. The actor has been feeling depressed after hearing the news of his aunt's death.
Sanjay Dutt's aunt, the late Rani Bali, was the sister of Sunil Dutt. The Munna Bhai MBBS star wanted to attend her funeral but was not granted permission by the jail authorities.
Dutt has created a small temple inside his cell to mourn his aunt. The other inmates of the Yerwada jail in Pune are reportedly concerned about his wellbeing.
Last seen on screen in the film PK released in 2014, Dutt is currently serving a five year prison term for illegal possession of arms in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts.
A biopic on the controversial actor's life under the direction of Rajkumar Hirani will begin shooting next year. Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Dutt in the film.
