New Delhi: Actress Raveena Tandon on Thursday said she was extremely happy after superstar Salman Khan was acquitted of all charges in the 2002 accident case.
"I am very happy for Salman. It's a joyous day for him and his family. He has come out of this (case) and he has come out of it very well. I wish him all the best, it is fantastic," said Raveena, who acted with Salman in "Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye", "Andaz Apna Apna" and "Patthar Ke Phool".
A few days ago Raveena Tandon had expressed her opinion when actor Aamir Khan was caught in controversies. Aamir's comment on rising ‘intolerance' in the nation was not welcomed well by the actress and she had posted a series of tweets targeting him, though she did not take his name in any of them.
Salman was acquitted on Thursday by the Bombay High Court of all charges in the 2002 accident that killed a pavement dweller.
