New Delhi: Spectators who were anticipating Salman Khan's production ‘Hero', which was set to launch Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty will now have to wait a little longer since the movie's release has been postponed.
If the leading daily is anything to go by then, the movie in spite of releasing in February will now release in June once the Cricket World Cup and Indian Premiere League is over. Yes, the ‘baap' of cricket that is World Cup is set to take place from February and as one and all knows nothing could stand in front of it.
Hero, the remake of 1983's Jackie Shroff starrer with the same name, will be a launch pad for Aditya Pancholi's son and Sunil Shetty's daughter. And we have to say that it's a smart move by the makers to shift its release.
As it has been a record that any movie released, it doesn't matter is big or small, has been eaten up by the biggest tournament. Hero which is directed by Kal Ho Na Ho and D-Day fame director Nikhil Advani is one of the most anticipated movies considering it's a Salman Khan production and the massive buzz created around it.
However, no official confirmation was made but the movie is wrapped up and is set to hit the screens. It may be recalled that the movie's lead actor Sooraj Pancholi was embroiled in a controversy after his ex-girlfriend and actress Jiah Khan committed suicide.
Being involved in such a massive controversy at the beginning of the career would be toughest part of anybody's life but Salman Khan being close to Aditya proved to be a God father for Sooraj.
Nevertheless, the case is currently set to peace however, it can pop up any moment since it's being followed by late actress' mother Rabya Khan. Moving on with it, Sooraj is totally concentrating on his profession and if the first poster of Hero is anything to go by, he is all set to leave an impact on viewers.
