Mumbai, Sept 12: Salman Khan as shooting a sequence for YRF film, Ek Tha Tiger near Ha'Penny Bridge in Ireland when he was mobbed by over 200 fans, says a media report.
On the first day of the shoot, Salman was strolling up and down the Liffey boardwalk on Lower Ormond Quay when people started photographing the actor.
After a point the crowd began to get out of control and Salman was compelled to take refuge in a nearby restaurant for safety. The 45-year-old actor has recently been garnering a lot of attention for his films like Dabangg, Ready, and Bodyguard that have raked in the moolah at the box office.
After being in the industry for over a decade Ek Tha Tiger is Salman's first venture with the production house.
Ek Tha Tiger is the story of a scientist from Trinity College who is suspected to have a key role in selling missile technology secrets to Pakistan. In order to find out more on the professor, a secret agent is hired by the Indian government under the code name ‘Tiger'.
In the course of his mission, he falls in love with the professor's caretaker, Zoya played by his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif. This movie is the first big budget Bollywood film to be shot in Ireland thus creating over 1000 short term job opportunities in the country and adding about €1.5m to the Irish economy.
