New Delhi: Yes, there are big assumption being drawn that Maharashtra spectators might not get their ‘Kick' this Friday since the theatre owners are adamant on not to withdraw the two weeks old Riteish Deshmukh's ‘Lai Bhaari' shows for Salman Khan starrer action drama.
So, will this effect Kick's box office collection in any aspect? In one aspect, not at all as this flick is going to enjoy the biggest ever number of screens of over 5000 but looking at the other side of the coin, Maharashtra being a hub of entertainment, the makers of Kick have a cause for disappointment.
According to a leading daily, MNS Film Wing, Ameya Khopkar who has co-produced the flick with Genelia D'Souza, has said that he won't withdraw Lai Bhaari from the screens where it's doing very well. However, they might give a couple of shows in the theatres where business is just fine.
Producer-Director Sajid Nadiadwala is shocked after his meeting with the two producers who are in no mood to make an adjustment even after Salman made a cameo appearance in their flick as ‘Bhau'
Well, that's being ungrateful. However, Anand Vishal, Head of Operations of Fun Republic, has indicated to preference will be given to Kick. On the other hand, Manoj Desai, owner of Gaiety, Galaxy and Maratha Mandir is planning to get both flicks enjoy equivalent run in theatres.
Looking over this scenario, we could picture out how the theatre would look like once ‘Kick' which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Sddiqui hits theatres. A chaos outside theatres could be witnessed on the opening day and prior days since limited seats wouldn't be able to meet public demand.
The flick has already created such a massive buzz that none of the Salman fans would want to miss it out. In other cities there are no such hurdles been discovered yet, in fact advance bookings both online and offline have already begun all over. We are just waiting for July 25th when Salman Khan finally ‘Kick's off heavily at box office.
