New Delhi: There is no denying that Superstar Salman Khan is an amazing human being. He has been the Godfather to many in the film industry and has lent his helping hand to many in need. There is a long list of people in the tinsel town who have benefitted from Salman and there has been an addition to this list, actress Shilpa Shetty.
Surprising as it may sound, Salman was one the knight in shining armour for his ‘Phir Milenge' actress. Recently, at an interview to a leading daily Shilpa revealed that Salman was the one who got her back when she was going through a low phase.
“When I went through a low phase in my life, Salman was one guy who stood by me. I remember Dhadkan had just been released and it wasn't declared a hit. Only a week later did the movie take off and did well because of its songs. But for that one week after its release there was a lull in my life”, Shilpa said.
She then revealed that it was Salman who filled light in her otherwise dull life. “I didn't know what was going to happen. I had no films in my kitty. Salman Khan then called up and said, ‘A producer is going to come and he wants to sign you for a movie. I don't know if Dhadkan has done well or not but please do this film.' So he is all heart and he is someone who believes in people and goes all the way for them,” she added.
She also praised Salman and his affection towards people. Shilpa said; “He either loves you completely or he doesn't want to know you at all. There is no third way with him. He is someone very soft at heart and he loves kids. He is also a very funny guy.”
Shilpa also revealed that Salman has a penchant towards her father, “He calls him Anna and I remember he used to randomly come over to our house. Once I had a very early morning shoot and didn't take his calls. So, he called up my father and said, ‘I was passing by and I thought of coming over for a drink.' I had slept and my father invited him and both of them sat and drank outside.”
Well, with so much love for the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star flowing in from his colleagues, he is surely a blessed man. And so are the ones who have Sallu as their close friend.
