New Delhi: Actor Salman Khan is a close friend of his Bajrangi Bhaijaan co-star Kareena Kapoor but he doesn't share the same equation with her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. Salman's bitter relationships with other actors have always made it to the news. While his fight with superstar Shah Rukh Khan was the most talked about topic of the town for years, there is another Khan who was at loggerheads with him.
The Chota Nawab of Bollywood has accepted in a recent interview that he has differences with Salman Khan. The two have acted in movies together and even played the role of elder and younger brother in Sooraj Barjatya's Hum Saath Saath Hain. The two superstars were once said to be very close but since they grew indifferent to each other, they have managed to keep their relationship away from the media glare.
However, when Salman extended an invitation to Saif for the special screening of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan', it made the news. There was speculation that Saif was invited only because Kareena was a part of the movie but at one of his interviews Saif disagreed, “I hope not. Salman, I know, would not do anything just for the sake of it. I have known him longer than I have known Kareena. So I would hope that our equation is not dependent on her and I felt very nice about it.”

When asked what exactly the problems between them are, Saif decided to keep that to himself. He added, “We have done films and shows together. Over time, there have been some differences that have come up, which him and I best know about and that will always remain between him and me only. He is someone I have worked with, spent a lot of time with and he is someone I greatly admire as a brother. And that will never change.”
Now that it is confirmed that there are issues between them, we wonder if Kareena will work towards amending them. Saif, however, praised Salman too, “He (Salman) is someone I have known for a very long time and was the No.1 star when I had thought of joining movies. He is someone I just respect and look up to. I will always look up to him for many reasons.”
