Too much T20 cricket has taken the thrill away from the game, at least for many viewers. Include actor Saif Ali Khan in the list. Saif has become rather indifferent towards the game of cricket and is now more interested in football.
“Cricket is happening 365 days. I am more interested in soccer now. The football world cup is just a month away and I am looking forward to it,” Saif tells a news agency.
Very diplomatically, he even ducks the question regarding India's poor performance at the recently concluded T20 World cup in West Indies.
“I don't think I am the right person to say anything on that,” he says.
Well, that sounds strange coming from a man whose father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and grandfather Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi were former Indian team captains.
Anyway, Saif is waiting for the Football World Cup in South Africa to kick off on June 11. However, he may not be able to watch all the matches as he would be busy shooting his home production Agent Vinod which rolls this month only.
