Mumbai, Aug 28 :  Filmmaker Sahil Sangha, who made his debut with ‘Love Breakups Zindagi', is all set to direct his second film, which he describes as a coming-of-age movie.  The 2011 romantic film was produced by Zayed Khan and Dia Mirza along with Sahil under the banner of Born Free Entertainment.

“I am all set to direct my next film. I am writing a coming of age story. It is about a guy who gets into a problem and how he overcomes it...deals with it. For this film we are still in the scripting stage, giving final touches so can't talk reveal things,” Sahil told PTI.

“I can't talk about what is the problem as that is the crux of the story. It is not a romantic problem like girl is not there in his life and those types. There is a love story...there is an element of emotion,” he said.

The producer-director has not zeroed in on any actors for this film.

“We have not thought of actors yet. For this film, the character has to look slightly older. If the characters and the script requires them (Zayed Khan and Dia Mirza) then I will approach them. But then they also have to like it,” Sahil said.

If all goes well, Sahil will be direct this film this year end or early next year.

The production company of the trio - Zayed, Dia and Sahil—are open to other directors making a film under their banner.

“We as a production company have been receiving ideas and scripts from other directors as well. We are open to doing something like this. We have got quite a few ideas and work is going on two scripts, story is getting developed,” Sahil said.

“Of the two other scripts, one is a romantic-comedy and other is a human story...its about a father-son relation.  I can't talk much,” he said.

Sahil refused to divulge details as to who would be wielding the megaphone for these two projects.

“Our intention is to make different films…we want to offer our audience something new and exciting stuff. We take no reference point of any old films,” he said.
