Mumbai: Bollywood celebrities like Lata Mangeshkar, Rishi Kapoor and Anupam Kher have mourned the death of yesteryear actress Sadhana and remembered the famous songs she was a part of.
The actress died on Friday after a long battle with cancer, a family friend said. She was 74.
Sadhana is known for her work in films like "Woh Kaun Thi?", "Mera Saaya", "Intaqam", and "Waqt".
B-Town took to Twitter to express their grief:
Lata Mangeshkar: Mujhe abhi pata chala ki meri pasandida abhinetri Sadhana ji ka aaj swargwas hua. Ye sunke mujhe bahut dukh hua. Sadhana ji ek bahut badi kalakar thi. Ishwar unki aatma ko shanti de. (I just got to know my favourite actress Sadhana ji's,sudden demise. May her soul Rest in Peace.)
