New Delhi: The ‘tip-tip barsa pani' girl Ranveena Tandon is set to return on screen with Anurag Kashyap's ‘Bombay Velvet' but the actress doesn't consider it as her comeback flick.
Raveena will be playing the role of a jazz singer and her first look has created right amount of buzz for the flick too. After a long time the actress will be seen making most of her role in any movie and that's what keeping her all excited however, she completely denies that it's her comeback.
In an interview to Times Of India, she said, "Anurag is another close friend and we go way back to Shool days. I got a very excited phone call from him about the movie and he was like, 'You have to be in it and I am not listening to a no at all'. And I agreed. I am in a few songs in the movie. It's not a proper role with dialogues or a story line. Right now, the film is in the edit stage and I've been told it's running long. So I don't even know whether my songs will be in it or not. That's what even I am trying to find out because people ask me all these questions. I have to clarify to everyone that it's just a guest appearance and not my big comeback. That term is used all around these days and I can't handle it.”
The actress has also signed Onir's Shab out of friendship. She added in the interview that Onir insisted her to be the part of the flick which she couldn't say No to. Raveena is happy enjoying her motherhood looking after her two kids. She is in no hurry for bagging roles in movies as the actress feels there is no such pressure like before.
Well, we wish her all the best for that.
