New Delhi: Rani Mukerji and husband Aditya Chopra might have chosen Italy as their wedding venue but the duo had it in a rather desi style.

She might be busy with her upcoming film Mardaani's promotion but that doesn't sway her away from performing her household duties.

In her recent interview to a daily, Rani revealed how her dream man kept her wish and agreed for a bengali style wedding. She said, "I got married in a Bengali way and it was really nice to see Adi in a 'topor' and 'dhoti'. Also I was very keen on my father doing my 'kanyadan' though he doesn't keep up well."

When she was asked about the arrangements of her weddng, she was quick to says, "It was like a dream wedding, I might sound corny, what else could be the marriage of a Yash Chopra Bahu?".

Rani also discussed about wedding guest list that comprised of total 20 people including her brother's kids and her father's nurse among close family members.

Mrs Aditya Chopra finds it  rather amusing to adapt to this new change in her life. She expresses her happiness to wake up to daily household chores like any other new bride.

She shared, "Every day is like a challenge to choose new vegetables in the morning when the cook comes to you and asks what he has to prepare for the day."

The 'Mardaani' actress also talks about her bond with Aditya Chopra, "He calls me his 24 hours entertainment channel that he can always change from comedy to drama to terror." Rani further adds, "He is absolutely the way I thought my man would be. Adi beats me to be a better human being than me, so I have got lucky. He is wonderful and not many people would believe that he makes me laugh, so he a good sense of humour and very cute."

Rani Mukerji who plunged herself into completing 'Mardaani' right after her marriage plans to go on her honeymoon soon.
