New Delhi: Ever since the Kapoor scion, Ranbir has stepped into the Industry with his debut flick ‘Saawariya', the actor's expression, energy and moves in his flicks have been strongly resembling his grandpa Shammi Kapoor and not his genetic Pa Rishi who also realizes the fact and feels proud of it.
More comparisons were made when Ranbir Kapoor's songs Badtameez Dil from ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and Besharam title track were released.
What came as astonishing was when Badtameez Dil song was out, fans and experts were so awestruck by the energy with which Ranbir crazily danced that they considered it to be an ode to late Shammi Kapoor, which actually was no where in the strategy.
Director Ayan Mukerji in an interview to a leading daily told that it wasn't a planned move but when they looked at some of the moves and Ranbir's mad energy, the similarities were meant to be made.
Ranbir Kapoor's look in his forthcoming flick ‘Bombay Velvet' too looks inspired by that of the legendary actor. However, this isn't on papers but many once again can't stop equating it.
The first poster out shows Ranbir's fierce side with guns blazing, while those overtly curly hair and grey suit closely reminds us of his grandpa.
The Barfi actor's look in ‘Besharam' too was said to be an amalgamation of Shammi Kapoor and American singer-actor Elvis Presley.
Ranbir and Shammi shared screen space in Imtiaz Ali's ‘Rockstar' in which our lead actor was also seen imitating his grandfather's ‘Tareef Karun Kya Uski' act. No matter what, Ranbir is sustaining the Kapoor's magic in Indian cinema with great endeavor so the similarities with his family legends like Shammi and Raj are quite obvious to be drawn.
