New Delhi: The trailer of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Roy' has become a huge hit among the movie buffs. It has almost touched 2 million views with 36 hours of its release on Youtube.
Ranbir and Jacqueline fans logged in to the popular social media site to watch the trailer that helped it cross the magical number of 1 mn in just 15 hours.
The movie trailer is getting a positive reviews on FB and Twitter.
The film, directed by debutant director Vikramjit Singh, also stars Arjun Rampal.
Arjun, earlier in the day, took to twitter to announce the feat and thanked the fans.
“1 million views for #roytrailer in less than 15 hours. Thank you, thank you thank you” he tweeted.
First time in his career Ranbir Kapoor will be acting in a dark thriller. He is portraying a reel life legendary thief in the movie.
Arjun Rampal plays a film director who is planning to make a film on Ranbir's charter in the movie ‘Roy', who is not seen by anyone. He is the one who narrates the story to the audience.
The ever so beautiful Jacqueline Fernandez is playing double role in the movie. She is dating both Arjun and Ranbir, as Ayesha and Tia, respectively.
Ranbir had taken a break after ‘Besharam' that was released in October 2013. He has three films lined up for release in 2015.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Divya Khosla Kumar, Roy will be released on February 13, 2015.
