New Delhi: Superstar Rajinikanth's second outing this year ‘Lingaa' teaser is out and with electrifying iconic style and action, it hits the right chord with the audience.
If you were least disappointed with the legend's 3D motion drama ‘Kochadaiyaan'- India's first photorealistic performance capture film, then Lingaa's 35 second teaser will compel you to forget all and make you fall in praise for the superstar again who is back in his usual avatar.
Directed by K.S. Ravikumar, Lingaa has Rajinikanth's signature style which since years has been making his fans go crazy over it. Powerful action stunts and background score by A.R. Rahman is what make this movie a sure-shot entertainer and a commercial blockbuster.
Sonaskhi Sinha, who marks her South debut with this movie, looks extremely beautiful and is in her usual bubbly style. On the other hand, Anushka Shetty who is already a sensation down in South cinema too makes a mark while romancing with Rajinikanth.
The teaser which released yesterday on November 1st has gone viral and has crossed a million mark. Also starring Jagapati Babu, Brahmanandam, Santhanam, Karunakaran, Dev Gill, Lingaa will release in multi-languages all over on December 12th when superstar will ring in his 64th birthday.
Lingaa is said to have Rajinikanth in a double role- one as a father and the other as a son.
The modern day Rajini's character is a royal son of his aged father who comes back to reign over his dynasty after finishing off his studies from abroad.
Sonakshi Sinha is going to star opposite Rajini's aged character, while Anushka Shetty will be romancing with young one. However, what else is revealed is that the story will be narrated in the flashback mode.
