Mumbai: Veteran actor Raj Babbar, who is returning to TV with new action show 'Pukaar', says he feels fortunate to be a part of showbiz for over three decades. The 62-year-old politician said he has a long way to go and would entertain audience with his performances.
"It was fortunate that I was shooting on the day that marked 35 years of first facing the camera. I consider myself lucky that I've had a wonderful journey and have met good people.
"But I am not done yet. I still feel I have not worked enough. I never stopped my journey and I still want to work more. I hope the viewer's continue to appreciate my work and enjoy my new show 'Pukaar'," Babbar said in a statement.
The Life OK's new show, produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, is scheduled to air soon and will see Babbar essaying the role of a father to an army son played by VJ-actor Rannvijay Singh. Babbar started his career with National School of Drama and starred in films including 'Insaaf Ka Tarazu', 'Umrao Jaan', 'Mazdoor' and more recently 'Bullett Raja'.
The actor also appeared in the introductory episode of the famous Indian TV series 'Mahabharat', as king Bharat.
