New Delhi, Apr 15: Sanjay Dutt's Manager Parag Desai has revealed that it's Film producers' pressure over the actor which led him to move to the Supreme Court seeking more time to surrender before the Mumbai Police to serve his three and a half year imprisonment.
Desai said that there are about seven flicks remaining unfinished by Sanjay Dutt, the producers of which are straining him to complete otherwise will led to a big financial loss to them.
On his plea the apex court had given four weeks time to Sanjay Dutt and others to surrender to serve their prison terms. The deadline ends on or before April 18.
In his application, the Bollywood star has pleaded that he had too many film engagements to complete and he needed more time to surrender.
According to a rough estimate, nearly Rs 250 crore Bollywood money is riding on Sanjay Dutt's movies which are on the planboard.
Sanjay Dutt's imprisonment would affect the Box-Office in a big way. There are a number of flicks which are under production while others have duly signed by the actor.
