New Delhi, July 13: The team of the upcoming rom-com ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya' was here today for promotions and the usually shy and calm Prabhu Deva seemed completely elated to promote his new venture. Along with Prabhu Deva and Girish Kumar, the other stars who were present at the event were Poonam Dhillon, Vinod Khanna, Randhir Kapoor and producer Ramesh Taurani himself.

Everyone at the press conference was all praises for the lead actor and debutant, Girish Kumar. His hard work and professionalism was appreciated by one and all. Dancing sensation, Prabhu Deva was in a fix when asked to point out one negative thing in the debutants performance and he could think of no answer for a long time and smilingly shrugged the mike away while Girish jokingly retorted “don't end my carrier before it's even started”.

Likewise, Poonam Dhillon on being asked how good an on screen son was Girish, laughingly replied “I know how hard he has work to play the badmaash on screen and honestly this is one of the best production house I have ever worked with”.

She couldn't stop thanking the production house for giving her the movie. Similarly Randhir Kapoor, who was initially reluctant to sign the film said “after hearing the script I just couldn't say no to such a sensitive storyline and thought why not encourage a new talent like him”.

Girish Kumar, who makes his debut this year with ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya' is a complete dare devil and insists on doing his own stunts and idolizes Amitabh Bachchan. He was high on the style quotient oozing confidence and style. Girish was fun to be around and sportingly answered all questions thrown at him.

He seemed to think that he was very lucky to be born to such set of parents and thanked God for not having to struggle as much as the others, but as an after thought also added “that this doesn't mean that there is no amount of hard work put in and I really feel compassionate for the people who have to struggle to achieve a mark”

At the end of the press conference, on special request from the media and the assembled guests, Prabhudeva and Girish Kumar also danced to the song “Hip Hop Pammi” from the film.

The film looks promising and is slated for release on the 19th of July.
