Nana Patekar rules out joining politics, asks Raj, Uddhav to join hands

New Delhi, March 1 : Bollywood actor Nana Patekar has renewed his appeal to Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray to join hands, but himself ruled out joining active



Patekar described how he was struck with inferiority complex at a very young age, because his two brothers were fair-skinned and he had a dark complexion.

"I had a feeling that my parents loved my brothers more. To make my parents notice me despite my looks, I started taking part in plays in our village and gradually, the inferiority complex disappeared."

Patekar disclosed how at the age of 13, he started painting film posters after school hours.

"My father's partner ditched him and his business collapsed, and I had to become a breadwinner for the family.

I painted cinema posters for a Parsee gentleman, who paid me Rs 35 per month and one free meal a day. I used to be in school till noon and then rush to work. It was a terrible time."

Aap Ki Adalat featuring Nana Patekar will be telecast on India TV on Saturday (March 2) at 10 pm and on Sunday (March 3) at 10 am and 10 pm.
