New Delhi: Biopics have always fascinated the Bollywood industry. Infact, the B-town has given some remarkable biopics based on many legends.
These days, the glam industry is going with the flow of making biopics and several actors are quite excited to be a part of the recreation of history. While Sonam Kapoor's ‘Neerja Bhanot' is all set to hit the theatres in February, 2016, we have another biopic to add on to the list.
We are talking about the 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' which will be hitting the theatres on September 2, 2016.
Helmed by Neeraj Pandey, 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' is the biopic based on the life of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The announcement was by Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who will be seen playing the role of M.S Dhoni in the biopic. He took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to make the announcement as he tweeted, “#dhoniTheUntoldStory will release on 2nd September 2016. Can't wait;-)). #neerajpandey @foxstarhindi”, along with a pic of himself wearing Dhoni's jersey.
Actress Kiara Advani has been roped in to play Sakshi, Dhoni's wife in the movie.
Reportedly, veteran actor Anupam Kher will be seen playing role of Dhoni's father Pan Singh in the film.
