Movie Review: Go Goa Gone: Saif overshadowed, Tiwari excels

The two miserable Hardik (Kunal Khemu), Luv (Vir Das), ditched from gals and employment dangles onto their friend Bunny's (Anand Tiwari) shoulders to come at ease at the Goa beach. Along with the new friend Luna (Puja Gupta) they all are invited to a rave bash on an island centered at the ocean. The night is intoxicated along with numerous sexes.While the dawn serves them a dead brain mammals who know nothing expect the living beings' limbs. The rescue them we are introduced to the Russian mafia (Saif Ali Khan) who posses a Delhi Lingo. Will they survive till last? That's all you need to find here. Dawn of the dead will always be one of the most admired zombie's flicks of all time. The desi format of Zombies here delivers you less of thrills and more of wit in parts.The trios of pals never let their humour down and are well given freedom to deliver as much punches as they can. But their punches aren't enough to paper the damage done to script particularly in the second hour. The spectators sitting alongside in the theatres laughing and making fun of the scenes compels us to judge what the Directors Raj N and Krishna DK must have thought before delivering this rom com drama. They thought to serve thrills down your spines but unfortunately are let down by the non appealing makeup and the semi painted dead beings.None of 13,000 heartless and brainless zombies have the courage to hurt any of the five protagonists and they let them off without a scratch on their forehead.Already the flick is summarized within 100 minutes, over that Saif's appearance seems like a cameo in the flick. Even after walking out of the theatres we are in guess how does his desi and Russian lingo pop up out of no where. Khan's performance thereby is overshadowed but the three colleagues. Kunal Khemu, Vir Das and above all of them Anand Tiwari. Kunal, the wittiest among all serves punches with witty line deliberately. Vir Das is reminds us of his Delhi belli days and is equally hilarious. Pooja Gupta gets her share but could have got more. Still convinces. But lastly, it's Anand Tiwari who steals the show with his confused and tormented character. He excels in every scene. Music by sachin-Jigar accompanies good particularly ‘Khoon Choos Le' track which is already a hit. I'll go with 2 stars for Go Goa Gone. It's an unpleasant brainless laugh riot which lacks thrills.
