New Delhi: Varun Dhawan's ‘Main Tera Hero' is off to a good start at box office, though, not a flying start but enough to end the dry spell last week making Rs 6.60 cr on Friday.
“MainTeraHero Fri Rs 6.60 cr nett. India biz”, tweets trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh.
The David Dhawan directorial has mostly got good response by film critics. Despite it's usual formula, Varun's act has lifted the pace of the flick and it offers the wholesome entertainment.
With no other companion this week except Hollywood's ‘Captain America', the romantic-comedy's figures are expected to grow at box office.
The semi-final between India and South Africa played a bit spoilsport at box office. The grand finale on Sunday between India and Sri Lanka could also stop audience from running towards theatres.
