Former Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit made a quiet entry into Mumbai, the city she seduced and ruled for years with her exceptional acting and dancing skills, reports Mumbai Mirror.

The Dhak Dhak girl of Bollywood is here for three months during which she is expected to sign a big movie and also judge the TV dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

However, she's keeping her plans secret. "I have been offered some good projects but I'm still in talks and things are not really finalised. So, I would not like to say much," she said.

She's kept track of Bollywood, of course, and is quite taken up by Ranbir Kapoor.

"He must be proud of what he has achieved as he has done it on his own terms. Ranbir must have had expectations to live up to but he has done fantastic. I have also met Imran Khan and he has an impressive persona. Priyanka is a good actress and she was superb in Fashion," said the former diva.

Madhuri, who has been living in the US with her husband Dr Shriram Madhav Nene and sons Arin and Raayan since quitting Bollywood in 2002, has come down with her parents.

"They haven't been to India for some years now and wanted to visit Mumbai. My children will follow when their school shuts for the holidays," she said, adding,

"I plan to take my parents around and meet relatives. I also want to meet friends from Bollywood and outside. I haven't been able to stay in touch with them but whenever we meet, we take our relationship forward smoothly. Time hasn't been able to distance us from each other."

What she misses most about Mumbai is its energy.

"It's great to feel the love and warmth everytime I come to the city. It's crazy to see all the welcoming arms. I feel loved and humbled," said Madhuri. Her fans in Mumbai will be delighted to know that the actress has taken up dancing again.

"I took a break when I had my children. But now with them going to school, I have some time for myself and I have taken up Kathak. I can never quit dancing. It is a spiritual moment for me. I feel connected to something divine as dancing for me has never been to just move my body."
