He plays a surprise love interest to Abbas Tyrewala's wife in his next, 1-800-Love
Pakhi has a turbulent past — in reel life that is, not real life. In her next film 1-800 Love, directed by her husband Abbas Tyrewala, Madhavan does a cameo, playing Pakhi's exboyfriend.
In his debut film Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na, Abbas had a added a lot of surprise elements including Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Naseeruddin Shah. In this film, he has roped in Madhavan to play the blast from the past in Pakhi's life.
A source reveals, “The story revolves around Pakhi, who is in a relationship with Madhavan and has a very bad break-up because he cheats on her. She gets into a major depression and almost commits suicide. That's when she meets the lead actor, John Abraham. Pakhi actually goes to call the suicide helpline but accidentally dials a wrong number, which puts her in touch with John. Madhavan has already shot for his scene in London a few months ago. It is a surprise element in the film. In took just one call by Abbas to Madhavan — he agreed to do the cameo immediately. And he suits the role perfectly.” Madhavan and producer Madhu Mantena remained unavailable for comment.
