New Delhi: Rajeev Khandelwal's latest TV venture 'Reporters' got an instant hit with fans after its first promo got leaked. The video that went viral showed the show's leading lady Kritika Kamra slapping Rajeev after he gives her a bold kiss.
What excited the viewers was the personification of this leaked scene as real. However, since the official promo is out now, it is all for everyone to see that the scene was made to be a part of the promo.
The first teaser actually focuses on women empowerment as Rajeev Khandelwal can be seen telling that Kritika's slap is an answer to those who ill-treat women. When asked about the controversy, both the stars maintained that they didn't know about the viral video and that the scene was always made as part of the entire video.
Speaking about the show, the 'Table No. 21' actor explained that the show might not look bold in visually, but it is bold and strong in its attitude. "It involves you. The beauty is it hits you right where it should and also conveys the show's approach right in the beginning," said Rajeev.
