New Delhi: Kill/Dil couldn't turn out to be a game changer at box office as it was anticipated.

The movie starring Ranveer Singh, Govinda, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra in the pivotal roles from its Friday collection of Rs 6.85 cr witnessed just a slight rise on Saturday where it garnered Rs 7.10 cr nett in India, according to a leading daily Koimoi.

The movie's two days collection now stands at Rs 13.95 cr in India. The opening weekend is expected to be just over Rs 20 cr, which is much low considering its big starcast and big banner of YRF.

The movie created right amount of buzz prior its release while the music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy also added to its publicity but all of it didn't turn out into good box-office numbers. While the critics mostly gave a thumps down to this gang saga, audience too didn't look impressed with the stars' performances and movie's storyline.

However, for Parineeti these are her year's best opening figures compared to Hasee Toh Phasee and Daawat-e-Ishq, which garnered Rs 16.75 and 13.60 cr nett respectively in its opening weekend while for Ranveer, Kill Dil has failed to beat his Gunday's record at box office. Gunday which also starred Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka ended its first weekend at Rs 43 cr nett in India.

In weekdays the movie shall continue to keep its run similar to last week's release ‘The Shaukeens', which in its opening weekend collected over Rs 20 cr nett in India. The first week collection of this Akshay Kumar starrer is Rs 28 cr while on its second Friday and Saturday the movie has garnered Rs 2 cr taking its nine days total to Rs 30 cr.
