New Delhi: Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan's ‘Khoobsurat' might be lagging behind at box office but at overseas the movie has beaten Parineeti Chopra-Aditya Roy Kapur's ‘Daawat-e-Ishq'.
The Shashanka Ghosh's directorial on its first Monday made Rs 1.75 cr nett in India as stated in Bollywood website Koimoi with which the four days' collection of Khoobsurat is now Rs 13 cr.
And it seems the Disney production has managed to get the movie more footfall than Habib Faisal's directorial flick.
Khoobsurat, which also starred Kirron Kher and Ratna Pathak Shah, at overseas has collected Rs 7.77 cr including Rs 2.26 from USA & Canada and Rs 1.77 from Pakistan.
The film's worldwide four days total now stands over Rs 20 cr. Daawat-e-Ishq on its fourth day has garnered Rs 2.25 cr in India. The movie within four days of its release has collected Rs 15.85 cr, according to Koimoi. The overseas collection of Daawat-e-Ishq, which has Anupam Kher in the supporting role is Rs 5.54 cr.
Considering its worldwide total of Rs 21 cr, the YRF production is leading ahead of Khoobsurat. But looking at the momentum Khoobsurat is running with at box office, till the end of its first week it has chances to be a clear winner.
For Daawat-e-Ishq on the other hand it shouldn't be a big problem to surpass its tiny making cost by the end of this week.
