Mumbai, July 3: After making his Bollywood debut with action-comedy 'Khiladi 786', director Ashish R Mohan is coming up with another film from the genre but with a social message.
"I am making an action-comedy with a strong social content. It is not a mindless caper," Ashish told PTI, without divulging more details.
'Khiladi 786', starring Akshay Kumar and Asin did good business at the Box Office.
On the upcoming venture, Ashish said the film will have a young cast though not newcomers. "The film won't have newcomers but young cast. I would
give casting a whole new approach by experimenting with it," he said.
Ashish, who is heading to Europe for a vacation with his wife, is likely to reveal name of the film, actors and its first look hopefully by next month.
If all goes well, the film will go on floors in December.
When asked if the biopic project on notorious gangster Babloo Srivastava has been shelved, Ashish replied in affirmative, saying, "Yes, until I am convinced with the script".
Srivastava, a former aide of fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, had expressed his desire to cast actors Abhishek Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi to portray him on screen.
