New Delhi: Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, whose two BHK (3-bedroom-hall-kitchen) flats in Rose Queen building in Khar was up for sale since past three years, has finally found a buyer.
The flats which are combined into one large flat with three bedrooms, two halls and two kitchens have been sold for a price of Rs 12-15 crore.
Kareena and her mother, Babita bought the flat that also has a carpet area of at least 2,050 sq ft and were looking for an appropriate client.
Prakkash Rohira of Karma realtors, who had also shown the flat to one of his clients, was quoted by Mid-day as saying, “The interiors of the flat are nicely done. The bedrooms are huge and are also done up well. The price of the flat was a bit higher due to the celebrity quotient attached to it and it had been in the market for a long time. The Kapoors had to wait a long time to find an appropriate buyer.”
According to a leading website, a public notice regarding both the flats with the names of Babita and Kareena Kapoor Khan as the owners was published in newspapers on Thursday.
As per the notice, the mother-daughter duo has agreed to sell their flats to a client whose name is not mentioned.
Kareena, post her marriage owns an apartment on the tenth floor of the building called Fortune Heights in Mumbai. Saif has his office in the same building. An interesting tidbit is that according to some reports, the estate prices of properties in front of this building and around it were hiked on reports of Kareena shifting in.
On the work front, Kareena has two flicks namely ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and ‘Udta Punjab' lined up this year.
