New Delhi: Kareena Kapoor Khan has cleared her stance on Abhishek Chaubey's ‘Udta Punjab.' In her statement to a Hindi daily, the actress has stated that she agreed doing the film when she was at the 30th page of the script.
Further, expressing on how much she liked the script of the film, Kareena also said that ‘Udta Punjab' is a powerful script that she has come across in years. The actress has also claimed that she found the script so much impressive that she gave her nod to the director without showing any concern for the rest of the starcast.
The film is already digging a lot into the buzz for having ex flames Kareena and Shahid Kapoor in the film. Though the two stars will not be sharing the screen space, the film holds significance in the presence of both of them.
In his last statement about the film, actor Shahid Kapoor revealed that he only suggested Kareena's name for the film after realizing that she fits well for the character. The ‘Haider' star also expressed how much he respect Kareena as an actor and that he shared no sort of menace with her anyhow.
