New Delhi: Rumours did made rounds that Deepika Padukone has replaced Kareena Kapoor in Karan Mallhotra's “Shuddhi' but producer and filmmaker Karan Johar has rubbished the reports.
KJo through his official Twitter account has confirmed that Kareena Kapoor Khan is still the lead actress of his next production to be directed by ‘Agneeparth' fame director.
“Kareena Kapoor is very much a part of SHUDHI...which stars Hrithik Roshan....directed by Karan Malhotra...the film will commence next year..”, tweets Karan.
Earlier, the news cropped up that Kareena is not willing to give bulk dates to the makers of ‘Shuddhi', which is already delayed. Following these makers looked out for the replacement and finally Dippy was finalised.
The flick will go in floors next year and will hit the theatres in 2015.
