The traditional wedding was followed by a grand reception, where Ankita sported a beautiful golden lehenga along with uncut diamond jewellery and Karan wore a three-piece suit.
Karan Patel's close friend and 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' co-actor Aly Goni kept the Twitter buzzing with all the happenings and pictures of the ceremony. "YHM" actor Aly Goni uploaded a photo of the newly-weds performing rituals. "Finally Mr and Mrs Karan Patel. May ALLAH BLESS THEM (sic)," he posted.
The couple is expected to leave for the honeymoon soon, as a source while talking to Deccan Chronicle has said, "The couple will be leaving immediately after the wedding, so Karan's character Raman will go missing from some episodes of 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', meanwhile he is also missing one episode of Nach Baliye so he is shooting for some links in advance, before he leaves. The actor has had a hectic schedule and has been looking forward to this break."
